Promenade des Anglais is an elegant one bedroom apartment, situated right beside the luxury hotel Negresco. The view is fantastic, with palm trees and the blue Mediterranean just across the street. The little balcony, with two chairs and a table, is the perfect place for an early breakfast, or an apéritif while you watch the sun go down.
The apartment is very bright and luminous, and elegantly decorated. It features marble floors, and big bay windows. The living rooms is furnished with an exclusive leather sofa (sleeping two) and an armchair. There is a TV with a DVD player, as well as a portable stereo. The bedroom, next to the dining area and behind sliding glass doors, has a comfortable double bed. It is also possible to place an extra bed in the living-room. The spacious bathroom, with a shower, is clad in honey coloured marble.
This is an exclusive part of Nice - walk just a block away, and you get to the pedestrian street with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. In the little side streets, leading up from Promenade des Anglais, you will find shops with all the big designer names.
Although this is a busy area, right in the middle of the city, double glazing very efficiently shuts out the traffic noice from the street. On top of that, the apartment is equipped with a safe. Last but not least, it is air conditioned!
» Location
The apartment is situated in central Nice, just beside the famous Hotel Negresco on the Promenade des Anglais. The beach is on the other side of the street. It is very close to the pedestrian street, with restaurants and shops, as well as to the beautiful Old Town of Nice. From Nice airport, it is about 15 mins by bus or taxi. The bus stop is only a minute away. The buses will also take you along the French coast. With train, you reach Italy in about 1,5 hours.
