Le Vent dŽEst is a beautiful, spacious, and recently renovated village house, situated in the historic hilltop village of Haut de Cagnes, near Nice. From the top floor terrace, you have a lovely view towards the sea, the mountains, and the old houses of the village. There is also a terrace outside the master bedroom, and a walled-in patio. A steep, terraced garden creates extra outdoors space. Outside the living-room a small terrace offers both a seaview and a mountain view.
This exceptional house, featuring old wooden beams and stone floors, has been decorated with great love and talent by the owners. It consist of a main house and a separate, new built studio in the former garage. The bright and welcoming kitchen is on the ground floor, next to the dining-room and the spacious living-room. An old fire-place offers wamth in the winter and ambiance in the summer. There is also a white tiled, full bathroom on the ground floor.
Walk up the first flight of stairs, and you get to the beautiful master bedroom, with air conditioning, a king size bed, a private shower room/wc, and a private terrace. The second bedroom and the top floor bedroom, sleeping two persons each, share a full bathroom. Outside the top floor bedroom, there is a terrace with a fantastic view!
The separate studio, accessed directly from the patio, offers two bunk beds, and a shower room/wc. An easy-to-handle sofa bed can sleep an additional two.
All in all, the house has room for 10 people. It is equipped with a flat screen satellite TV and wireless internet. There is ample space, and several seating arrangements, both inside the house, in the garden, and on the terraces. On the terrace/patio, you will find a gas barbecue for those wonderful summer meals!

In Haut de Cagnes, a medieval hilltop village between Nice and Antibes. 12 min to the airport. 20 min walk to the beach. 5 min to grocery stores, banks and post office in Cagnes sur Mer. 10 min by car to St Paul de Vence and the medieval city of Vence. 20 min to Nice, Cannes and Antibes. 30 min to Grasse and Italy. 17 golf courses in within 30 min drive. 1,5 hours drive to skiing.
