Le Refuge offers bed & breakfast in an elegantly furnished double room, with a large and exclusive bathroom. The building, that used to be a monastery, is situated in a quiet street in the enchanting medieval village of Haut de Cagnes. In the village, there are no tourist shops, but around 15 restaurants, a bar, and a jazz club. The B&B is part of a larger apartment, but has a separate entrance. At the top of the staircase, you choose the right hand door, the owner the left one.  From the room you have a beautiful sea view, towards the Cap d´Antibes. The room has a very comfortable double bed, a dining table with two chairs, an armchair and a television, that nicely fits into the fireplace. Wireless internet is available. The spacious bathroom, big enough for a children´s bed, is equipped with a bathtub, a shower, two washbasins, and a WC. There is a washing machine and a dryer. Although there are no real cooking facilities, there is a fridge, a microwave and a kettle, so you can easily fix up your own, pre-cooked meals - maybe a takeaway from one of the many restaurants. Continental breakfast is included, and the owner will be happy to arrange other meals on agreement.  

Haut de Cagnes, a medieval hilltop village between Nice and Antibes. 12 min drive to the airport. 5 min by car, 20 min walk to the beach.  5 min walk to grocery stores, banks and post office in Cagnes sur Mer. 10 min by car to St Paul de Vence and the medieval city of Vence. 20 min to Nice, Cannes and Antibes. 30 min to Grasse, Italy.  17 golf courses within a 30-45 min drive. 1,5 hours drive to skiing.
