RivieraHolidayRentals is a meeting place for those of you who want to find a place to stay, and for those who want to rent out their homes. We are not a company, but a small and informal network. We who work with RivieraHolidayRentals, live on the Côte d´Azur ourselves. We personally know all the home-owners and their apartments, village houses, or villas. Therefore, we can find tailor made solutions for you. We can also arrange personalized services, such as airport pick-up. Just let us know, and we´ll see what we can do. With RivieraHolidayRentals, you will come to a real home, equipped for a comfortable time. However, while some of the houses are on the luxurious side, there are also those that are rather on the simple and cosy side. Many of our properties are in the charming medieval villages just above the coastline. Others are in residentials areas outside towns and cities like Vence, Grasse or Nice. Roughly, you could say that we cover the triangle beween Nice, Vence and Antibes/Cannes.

In short:

We have picked out houses and apartments that we really like ourselves. They have then been given "attraction" ratings, using the palm tree as a symbol, and price ratings, using the euro sign as a symbol. The "palm ratings" are based on things like location, decoration, number of baths, kitchen standard etc. The euro ratings show that the price is within a certain interval (see "Rent" page and each property page). For an exact price on a property, please contact us and we will let you know promptly. We will also give you any information you might need about what is included and what is not.

When you have selected a property, please let us know, and we will check your booking with the owner. We will then by fax or e-mail send a rental agreement to you. This agreement will specify the rental price, extra charges, amount of security deposit, maximum number of persons who may occupy the property overnight, and when final payment is due. The rental agreement also states the terms and conditions of rental.It may be sent by email or fax. After that, you have a week to pay the deposit.

Payment procedures

The payment required to secure a reservation is 50 percent of the total rental price. This payment is due seven days after the client's receipt of a rental agreement. Wire transfer instructions will be sent out for international bookings. Unfortunately, we don´t take credit cards. As soon as the owner has received your payment, we send out a booking confirmation via e-mail. This confirmation will note when the final balance and security deposit is due. This may vary, according to the owner´s wishes. Some require final payment 50 days before arrival, others prefer payment on arrival. We will let you know on booking.

Cancellation

Should you have to cancel a booking 90 or more days before the arrival date, 50 percent of the initial deposit will be returned. Later than that, nothing will be refunded, unless you - or we - find new rentes for the period in question. In that case, we reimburse you 50 percent of what you have paid. Should you fail to pay the final balance on the stipulated date, this may be considered a cancellation with no refund due. We therefore strongly advise that you get a travel cancellation insurance.

Disclaimer

The renter cannot keep either RivieraHolidayRentals or the homeowner liable for any accident of any kind occuring during the occupancy of a home rented via RivieraHolidayRentals, and therefore agrees not to undertake any legal action against either the homeowner or RivieraHolidayRentals. The renter shall insure himself, his family, guests and belongings. By renting through RivieraHolidayRentals, the renter accepts these terms.
